“I’ll never see that poo-poo again”

My oldest little man Jon David has trouble saying good-bye to things.

So when MomLife Today asked if I would write a blog for them, the story of Jon David not wanting to flush is what they got.  And they actually posted it!

Here’s the whole story:  Just flush.

After reading it, you may need to flush something yourself;)

much love,

Lis

    Lisa,
What a wonderful post! You are so right, sometimes we must 'Just flush' what is bad for us. I'm had my share of these moments. And while at the time, I didn't think I would make it through, I did and God was right there guiding me.

You are an awesome woman, thanks for sharing.
    Jennifer

    Lisa,
That was a a great post! As a mother of 5 boys myself, I can understand this. I don't know if we had trouble saying goodbye to poop, but we have kept broken toys, candy trash, sticks from lollipops…
You are right… sometimes things "stink," and we need to flush.
Thanks for the reminder! (And the wonderful story…)

Reminds me of my own kids "poop" stories…kids are great, aren't they?

Once, after 'stranger danger' chats with my very trusting son, he was having a BM in a public restroom…and taking a very long time. I asked what the problem was…his response, "The smellies don't want to leave their mother."

Another time, different son…"What's the hold up?" "Mom, they are still downloading."

I wasn't able to pull any beautiful spiritual truths out though, just precious memories. Hold on to them, Lisa. One day those boys will be taller than you…and these sweet days will be long gone.

Love you. You are in my prayers.

Hey, I'm glad you're here! I hope that through radio, a podcast, or face to face at an event, we can remind each other that His love is better than life. xo
